On behalf of the Black Student Union at Baylor University, the Co-Chairs of the Conference Planning Committee extend a warm Texas welcome to all prospective attendees. It is our honor and great excitement to invite you to the 50th Annual Big XII Conference on Student Government and Leadership, taking place February 11–13, 2027, in Waco, Texas.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, our theme Rooted, Resilient, and Rising calls us to reflect on our rich legacy and rise boldly to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead. This golden anniversary is not only a commemoration of the past but a powerful opportunity to shape the future of leadership across our campuses.
The Big XII Conference on Student Government and Leadership exists to unite student leaders from across the nation in promoting positive self-efficacy, leadership development, and goodwill within both the student body and the broader community at each member institution. It is a transformative space where ideas are exchanged, challenges are confronted, and meaningful solutions are cultivated.
The planning committee has worked diligently to ensure that this 50th gathering is both impactful and unforgettable. Attendees will experience a dynamic lineup of speakers and workshops spanning liberal arts, business, mental health, medicine, law, and more.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Waco for a weekend of growth, empowerment, and celebration. As we commemorate 50 years of excellence in student leadership, we look forward to sharing new experiences that honor our past and propel us into the future.
