Mosaic Week
Mosaic Week kicks off with Mosaic Mixer. Mosaic Mixer is an event that allows students to meet one another and get connected with different cultural organizations, coalitions, and other departments on campus. This event includes free food, music, a student organization fair, and a cultural showcase. Following this event, a night is set aside for each ethnic group to have their own welcome/fair for their respective organizations. This includes Black Student Welcome, Hispanic Student Night, and Asian Mosaic Night.
Black Student Welcome
Black Student Welcome is one of the first events thrown to help kick off the year. Black Student Welcome is an opportunity for organizations within the Black Student Coalition to connect with current and incoming students on campus. Students can mix and mingle with the different organizations and learn about their purposes and goals. We hope students leave Black Student Welcome feeling connected and having found a home amongst the Black organizations on campus.
