Mosaic Week

For more than two decades, students, faculty, staff, and administration have united to celebrate our community through the Mosaic Week festivities. This annual tradition provides an opportunity for members of the campus community to highlight the many cultures that define our institution.

The events below are open to all students and we encourage you to attend as many as you can.

The following events will take place during this year’s Mosaic Week celebrations:

Mosaic Mixer

Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 5 PM
Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB), Lawn (Outside, Front)

Mosaic Mixer is an event that allows current and incoming students to meet and get connected to cultural organizations, coalitions, and other departments on campus. Mosaic Mixer includes a student organization fair, a cultural showcase, and a block party with free food and music. Mosaic Week continues with a welcome from our coalition organizations--Black Student Welcome, Latinx Night, and Asian Mosaic Night.

Mosaic Mixer Showcase

Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 6 PM
Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB), Barfield (2nd Floor)

10 organizations compete for the chance to be crowned the Mosaic Mixer Champion. This is an opportunity for organizations to showcase their culture and how it contributes to the caring community developed here at Baylor. Congratulations to the Pi Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated who have won the showcase for the past two years (2023, 2024).

Mosaic Block Party

Will follow the Mosaic Mixer Showcase
Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB), Den (1st Floor)

The Mosaic Mixer Block Party is a time of food and fellowship as we celebrate the start of the school year. This is an opportune time for individuals to connect or reconnect with those in the Baylor community.

Latinx Night
