Purpose: Chinese Student and Scholar Association is founded by a group of young people who strive to develop leadership among Chinese students in universities.
Japanese National Honor Society
Purpose: To recognize and encourage scholastic achievement and excellence in the study of the Japanese language.
Latinx Association of Science and Health
Purpose: The purpose of this organization serves to mold successful Latinx students to go out into the professional health field and impact their community through the different volunteer opportunities. It also serves as a tool to build professional connections and make lifelong friendships in a warm, vibrant environment.
MAPS: Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students
Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to promote diversity in the health care field as well as facilitating service learning opportunities to prepare its members to provide for the health care needs of individuals from varying backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic levels.
Minorities in Medicine at Baylor University
Purpose: The Minorities in Medicine Organization at Baylor University is a Pre-Health Organization. The primary purpose of this organization is to advocate and increase representation & equality for minorities in medicine. Additionally, the club will serve to promote and foster unity within the Pre- Health community at Baylor, provide academic resources to apply to professional school utilizing scholarships & mentorship, while also providing academic and community enrichment such as clinical skills workshops, group discussions, social events, community service, and more.
National Association of Black Journalists
Purpose: To provide quality programs and services to and advocate on behalf of black journalists. The organization has worked for diversity and to increase the number of ethnic minorities in newsrooms across the country.
National Society of Black Engineers
Purpose: To increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
