Workshop Submission Information
For half a century, the Big XII Conference on Student Government and Leadership has served as a cornerstone gathering of student leaders from colleges and universities across the country, a living testament to the power of community, representation, and collective purpose. Contributing to that illustrious legacy is a distinction that very few have the privilege of holding.
As we mark this historic milestone, we invite workshop presenters who are skilled in their field, understand the weight and significance of this moment, and are prepared to rise to meet it.
This Year’s Theme
The theme “50 Years Forward: Rooted, Resilient, and Rising” is not simply a tagline — it is a call to action that we hope will appropriately influence the content, tone, and direction of every workshop presented at the conference.
Rooted in our history and values, honoring where we come from and the foundation that has sustained this conference for 50 years.
Resilient through every challenge, acknowledging the obstacles student leaders face and equipping them with the tools to persevere.
Rising together to shape the future of leadership, inspiring attendees to lead boldly, collaboratively, and with purpose beyond the conference
Submission & Review Process
All workshop submissions will undergo a formal review process and university approval. We encourage every applicant to submit their very best. The proposal is your first impression to the review committee.
Proposals will be evaluated on clarity of content, alignment with the conference theme, relevance to student leaders, and the quality of the learning experience offered.
